Australian born makeup artist Joel Babicci spent his early years watching his grandmother apply her signature red lip and white face powder which gave him an appreciation for the transformative powers of makeup.  As a teen he was further inspired by goth and rave culture which with its heady visual identity informed his playful, experimental style.

While Joel is a master of impeccable, pared back skin he is most at home creating bold, colourful looks inspired by film, music or youth culture. Having worked in as a makeup artist in London for three years, Joel is now established in Sydney with an ever-expanding client base including Vogue Australia, Vogue Italia, Mecca, David Jones, Inprint and ID magazine.
